Nairobi / Malaysia - The Willis-Bottoms years...

My grandparents on my fathers side - the Willis-Bottoms' (yes, get the laughs out now) travelled allot with work. I am not sure on exactly what they did, I do know it was in the engineering field (will have to ask my aunt next time I see her from Malta).
My dad and aunt were born in Nairobi, Kenya. They lived here for the first part of their life before they all moved to Ipoh in Malaysia at which point my dad and aunt were sent to school in England. During that time, they rarely went home as in those days - travelling to Malaysia and back took a very long time. Although, they did do the trip on some occasions (again, when I next go to Malta will try and get some items to post - like my aunts diary which documents their travels).
It's all very 'colonial' as you can see.
